OUR STORY
My diverse background spans from sports to working dogs. With a career beginning at a young age, I shadowed an experienced clinical canine behaviorist and agility trainer, leading me to instruct agility classes from foundation to advanced levels. I competed in both Kennel Club and UKA agility events. Inspired by my Welsh Springer Spaniel, Izzy, I delved into dog training, achieved grade 6 in Kennel Club, and qualified multiple times for the UKA grand finals.
I then gained invaluable experience at Doras Doggy Daycare as a daycare assistant, studying canine body language, group dynamics, and breed-specific characteristics. Moving on to Dogs for Good, an organisation training assistance dogs for physical disability and autism, I served as a puppy coordinator, sparking a deep interest in puppies and the bond with building partnerships through training. Throughout my time here I also worked my own dog Dash, a springer spaniel, as a dual-purpose drugs dog.
I later progressed to become a puppy trainer for a world-leading detection dog supplier. In this role, my responsibilities encompassed many different aspects from whelping, raising litters, and environmental and search foundations training to prepare puppies for detection work. Now, eager to share my passion for scent work, I have embarked on a new journey to establish my own venture.
